Funeral services for Morgan Reichert, 81, of Roland, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10, 2025, at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Muldrow. Burial followed at Roland City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mr. Reichert was born on Feb. 25, 1944, in Fort Smith, Ark. to Laura (Tate) Reichert and Edward Gustoff Reichert. He passed away on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025, in Fort Smith.
He married Ethelda (White) Reichert on April 14, 1978, in Ozark, Ark.
A lover of ranching and hunting, he was known for his skills as a team roper, where he excelled as a header and heeler.
Survivors are his wife of 47 years, Ethelda; son, Kenneth Reichert and Crystal of Roland; daughter, Phyllis Parker and Scott of Roland; one grandson; two brothers, Eddie Reichert and Jeannie of Muldrow and Roger Reichert and Phyllis of Roland; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Cody Reichert; sister, Carol Ann Reichert; and brother, Michael Reichert.
Pallbearers were Heath Chapman, Trent Chapman, Sheridan Chapman, Tim Linthicum, Jimmie Shawn Barnes and Dean Reichert.
