Roland Rangers end football season with road district loss to Kingston
KINGSTON — The football season did not end on a high note for the Roland Rangers as they lost their District 2AI-3 road game 55-0 to the district champion Kingston Redskins on Friday night.
The Rangers finished the season at 2-8 overall and 2-5 in district play.
The Redskins (9-1, 7-0), who outgained the Rangers 424 yards to 198, jumped out to a 34-0 lead after a quarter en route to a 55-0 advantage at halftime. The entire second half saw a running clock instituted.
In defeat, Alex Brant threw for 116 yards, while Caden Davidson led the Rangers in rushing yards with 40. Josh Bower caught three passes for 77 yards to lead Roland receivers.
