LOCUST GROVE — The Muldrow Bulldogs ended their 2025 football season by winning their final game of the year as they routed the Locust Grove Pirates 41-14 in Friday night’s District 3A-3 game.
The ’Dogs ended the season at 5-5 overall and 2-5 in district play.
The Bulldogs broke the scoreless deadlock with a 2-yard touchdown pass from Teaguen Collins to D.J. Massey with 2:05 left in the first quarter. Wyatt Prewett’s extra point put Muldrow up 7-0 after a period.
After the Pirates (1-9, 1-6) cut their deficit to 7-6 with 9:22 left before halftime, Collins threw his second TD pass, a 22-yarder to Kade Scott. Prewett’s PAT increased the Muldrow advantage to 14-6 with 6:19 remaining in the first half.
It took just one play for the Bulldogs to score again, but not on offense. After the Pirates scored to knot the game at 14all with 44 seconds left in the first half, Collins perhaps scored the biggest touchdown of the night as he returned the ensuing kickoff 85 yards for the touchdown with 31 seconds remaining in the first half. Prewett’s extra point gave Muldrow a 21-14 lead.
However, Collins was not through. The senior recorded a pick-6 as he returned an interception 75 yards for the score with two seconds left before halftime. Prewett’s PAT upped Muldrow’s advantage to 28-14 at halftime.
DeShawn Willson scored on a 46-yard TD run in the third quarter to put the Bulldogs ahead 34-14 after three periods, and Gabe Miller plunged in from a yard out in the fourth quarter, followed by Prewett’s fifth extra point.
