Gans Grizzlies suffer Senior Night loss to Webbers Falls
By DAVID SEELEY Sports Editor,

There were slim hopes for the Gans Grizzlies to make the Class B, Division II playoffs when they played their Senior Night District BII-4 game against the Webbers Falls Warriors on Friday night at Grizzly Field. The first thing that had to happen was the Grizzlies had to not only defeat the Warriors, but win by 15 points or more to have a shot at the fourth-place finish in the district.

The Warriors made sure that didn’t happen as they blanked the Grizzlies 46-0 in a game that ended in the third quarter by the 45-point mercy rule.

The Warriors led 24-0 after a quarter and 40-0 at halftime.

The Grizzlies end the season at 3-7 overall and 1-4 in district play.
