HENRYETTA—Last year, the Roland High School cross country program formed and was rewarded with two state qualifiers — Molly Carver and current Carl Albert State College Viking Landon Killer.
In Year 2, there once again will be a state runner for Roland as Carver earned her second straight state berth at last Saturday’s Class 3A Regional Meet, where she was third overall with a time of 13:12.93.
Carver will run at the Class 3A State Meet, which will take place at 9 a.m. this Saturday at North Rock Creek High School, located north of Shawnee.
The Lady Rangers as a team finished 10th with 241 points.
As for other Lady Rangers, Cadence Cole was 60th (16:38.21), Landyn Ramey was 61st (16:39.47), Abby Bower was 75th (18:2-0.56) and Madison Hall was 78th (19:34.62).
The Rangers had four runners participate at last Saturday’s Class 3A Regional Meet.
Hunter Lowe was 39th (20:11.71), Dylan Lowe was 59th (22:41.36), Brett Mauldin was 63rd (22:55.98) and Rayen Tally was 80th (26:13.4).
