HENRYETTA — There will be one Muldrow High School cross country runner getting to run at the ultimate meet.
Muldrow runner Tiphany Martinez was the only member of either the Lady Bulldogs or ’Dogs to qualify for the Class 4A State Meet as she was 26th at last Saturday’s Class 4A Regional Meet to grab one of the seven individual berths to state. She ran the course in 13:51.39.
Martinez will run at the Class 4A State Meet at 11 a.m. this Saturday at North Rock Creek High School, located north of Shawnee.
As for other Lady Bulldogs, Emma Fields was 51st (14:58.22) and Isabelle Rogers was 88th (17:19.6).
The Bulldogs finished 14th as a team with 383 points.
Jesse Kilinc was Muldrow’s highest boys placer as he was 40th (19:15.79).
As for other ’Dogs, Brody Israel was 65th (20:21.06), Parker McLane was 89th (21:57.16), Cy Bradbury was 113th (27:41.6), Avos Denny was 114th (28:38.43), Parker Sevenstar was 115th (32:18.85) and Seth Nance was 117th (34:40.19).
