HEAVENER — The Brushy Lady Mountaineers were runners-up in the junior high girls division and the Roland Lady Rangers were third in the high school girls’ division at the Heavener Invitational, which took place Oct. 9.
In the junior high girls’ division, the Lady Mountaineers were runners up to the Poteau Lady Pirates, who won the meet with 35 points. Brushy had a secondplace total of 50 points.
The Lady Mountaineers claimed the junior high girls individual champion as Elizabeth Fleetwood won the meet with a time of 7:22.
Two other Brushy runners made the top 10 as Avie Lamp was seventh (7:40) and Hayley Bentley was eighth (7:43).
Lily McInerney was 15th (7:53), Liliana Guerrero was 19th (8:02) and Jaden Fleetwood was 20th (8:05) as they each made the top 20. Addison Young was 23rd (8:08).
Roland Lady Ranger runner Molly Carver was third in the high school division with a time of 15:12 and Cadence Cole was 10th (15:55) as each earned a medal.
As for other Lady Rangers, Landyn Ramey was 30th (18:06), Abby Bower was 32nd (18:58), Madison Hall was 36th (19:40) and Anistyn Howard was 42nd (23:28).
The Rangers had one runner make the top 20 as Hunter Lowe was 17th (17:44). Dylan Lowe was 25th (19:01), while Rayen Tally was 57th (25:00).
