Local runners compete, medal in Checotah Crossroads Classic

CHECOTAH — Several local high school and middle school cross country runners competed at the Checotah Crossroads Classic, which took place Oct. 7.

In the high school girls’ division, Central’s Sara Williams was runner- up with a time of 12:50 to earn a medal.

One other local high school girls runner also medaled as Muldrow’s Tiphany Martinez was seventh (13:55).

In team standings in the high school girls’ division, Central was third with 85 points, while Roland was 13th (312 points).

As for other high school girls runners, Central’s Sadie Huff was 17th (14:26), Muldrow’s Emma Fields was 22nd (14:41), Central’s Cambree Bair was 26th (14:52), Central’s Paris Campbell was 27th (14:54), Central’s Scarlett Harrison was 47th (15:33), Central’s Xhayla Mosby was 49th (15:36), Roland’s Cadence Cole was 64th (16:20), Roland’s Landyn Ramey was 85th (17:22), Roland’s Abby Bower was 93rd (17:41), Muldrow’s Isabelle Rogers was 94th (17:42), Roland’s Madison Hall was 113th (19:13) and Roland’s Anistyn Howard was 131st (22:54).

In the high school boys’ division, Muldrow’s Jesse Kilinc was the only local medalist as he placed 12th (19:22).

The Bulldogs as a team placed 11th with 250 points.

As for other local high school boys’ runners, Muldrow’s Brody Israel was 25th (20:20), Roland’s Hunter Lowe was 38th (21:03), Roland’s Dylan Lowe was 56th (22:05), Muldrow’s Parker McLane was 67th (22:31), Roland’s Tucker Tanksleary was 122nd (26:04), Roland’s Rayen Tally was 124th (26:05), Muldrow’s Cy Bradbury was 147th (29:16), Muldrow’s Avos Denny was 151st (31:18), Muldrow’s Parker Sevenstar was 161st (35:42) and Muldrow’s Seth Nance was 162nd (37:53).

In the junior high girls’ division, Central’s Scotti Wilson was 21st (7:42), Central’s Bryar Goodson was 30th (8:00), Roland’s Marley Bonner was 67th (8:46) and Central’s Olivia Blalock was 68th (8:49).

In the junior high boys’ race, the Roland Rangers were 13th with 326 points.

One local runner earned a medal as Central’s Caden Bair was fourth (6:35).

As for other local JH boys runners, Central’s Daxton Moldrup was 56th (7:37), Roland’s Andrew Escobar was 74th (7:53), Central’s Zander Moldrup was 86th (8:02), Roland’s Kash Earnhart was 91st (8:07), Roland’s Silas Kling was 95th (8:10), Roland’s Greyson Corderman was 106th (8:29), Central’s Koleman Edwards was 110th (8:31) and Roland’s Kyle Hammy McKinney was 156th (12:03).
