FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Three Sequoyah County cross country runners competed for Carl Albert State College in the Prairie Fire Pepper races, which took place Saturday in conjunction with the University of Arkansas’ Chili Pepper Invitational.
Former Muldrow Lady Bulldog twin sisters Katelynn and Kennady Moore represented the Lady Bulldogs. Katelynn was 175th (22:56.5), while Kennady was 204th (24:25.3).
For the Vikings, former Roland Ranger Landon Killer was 116th (29:14.9).
The CASC cross country teams will return to action in the 2025 NJCAA Region II Meet, which will take place Oct. 25 in Bentonville, Ark. Those who qualify will then compete in the 2025 NJCAA Division II National Championships on Nov. 8 in Fort Dodge, Iowa.
