Fall Harvest Festival Oct. 25

A Fall Harvest Festival will be held at Sequoyah’s Cabin Museum, 470288 Hwy. 101, Sallisaw, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct. 25.

The free event will include artist demonstrations, kids’ activities, live music, traditional food demonstrations, a pumpkin patch and traditional games. Artisan goods and food trucks will be available.

Last week, some of Roland High School’s students had the opportunity to attend the Regional Art Museum, where they worked alongside art therapist Lisa Clay. Students explored abstract art in a unique way, using flowers as the medium and pounding as the technique to create one-of-a-kind pieces.
