Muldrow Lady Bulldogs fall to Eufaula; regional tournament slated this week

EUFAULA — The Muldrow Lady Bulldogs suffered a 4-0 District 4A-6 road loss to the host Eufaula Lady Ironheads on Sept. 22.

Eufaula pitcher Leah Green two-hit the Lady Bulldogs (12-11 overall, 6-5 in District 4A-6 play).

The Lady Ironheads scored single runs in the first and third innings for a 2-0 lead, then doubled their advantage to 4-0 with a two-run sixth inning.

In defeat, Jaela Grayson doubled and Kaydence Young singled for Muldrow. Jaydin Dean (7-6) suffered the loss.

After playing their regular- season finale Monday at Pocola, the Lady Bulldogs will begin postseason play in the Class 4A District Tournament, which will take place this week in Tecumseh. The exact match-ups and times were not known at press time.
