Funeral services for Kevin Lee Benge, 60, were held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow. Burial followed at Roland City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mr. Benge was born on June 27, 1965, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Oleta Armer and Billy Lee Benge. He died on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025.
He served in the United States Army as a gifted sharpshooter and marksman, and spent 35 years working at Stryten Energy. He was a member of Scott Pentecostal Church.
Survivors are his wife of 39 years, Rita of the home; daughter, Telitha McMurray and Clayton of Roland; son, Dakotah Benge and Liza of Muldrow; three grandchildren; two sisters, Lindsey Timmons and Steve of Sallisaw and Dana Kelley and Steve of Roland; step-mother, Lisa Benge of Sallisaw; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Pallbearers were Dakotah Benge, Clayton Mc-Murray, Gregg Price, Rodney Chandler, Greg Wise and Ron Wilson.
Honorary pallbearers were Tyler Kelley, Ryan Kelley, Gary Younger, Shaun Hayes-Roberson, Dwayne Hayes, Steve Kelley and Brinkley Hayes.
