Roland runner places second at Braggs meet; local runners earn medals

BRAGGS — Roland Lady Rangers cross country runner Molly Carver was second in the 2025 Army National Guard Invitational, which took place Sept. 5 at Camp Gruber. She ran the course in 14:04.

Several other local runners earned medals in the meet.

In the high school girls’ division, Muldrow had a trio of medalists as Tiphany Martinez was fifth (14:25), Genna Stephenson was 12th (15:15) and Crystal Harrison was 13th (15:16).

Roland’s Cadence Cole was 32nd (17:32), Roland’s Landyn Ramey was 39th (18:40), Muldrow’s Isabelle Rogers was 40th (18:49), Roland’s Madison Hall was 46th (20:00) and Roland’s Abby Bower was 47th (20:04).

As a team, the Lady Rangers were fifth with 111 points, finishing behind team champion Cleveland (43 points), Keys (48), Morrison (71) and Porter Consolidated (101). In the high school boys’ division, the Bulldogs were eighth in the team standings with 196 points. Harding Prep won the team title with 42 points, followed by Cleveland (87 points), Miami (92), Muskogee (113), Stilwell (115), Porter Consolidated (159) and Chouteau-Mazie (178).

Muldrow’s Jesse Kilinc was 10th (19:24) to earn him a medal.

As for other locals, Muldrow’s Brody Israel was 22nd (20:50), Roland’s Hunter Lowe was 30th (21:27), Roland’s Dylan Lowe was 31st (21:28), Muldrow’s Parker McLane was 37th (22:02), Roland’s Brett Mauldin was 51st (23:20), Roland’s Rayen Tally was 90th (27:31), Muldrow’s Cy Bradbury was 99th (30:13), Muldrow’s Parker Sevenstar was 107th (33:10), Muldrow’s Seth Nance was 111th (35:26), Muldrow’s Averyn Dumas was 112th (35:27) and Muldrow’s Avos Denny was 113th (35:26).

The Central Lady Tigers were ninth in the junior high girls’ division with 233 points, finishing behind champion Owasso (52 points), Maryetta (75), Coweta (104), Tahlequah (112), Cleveland (119), Woodall (144), Briggs (178) and Chouteau-Mazie (222).

For the Lady Tigers, Scotti Wilson was 44th (16:28), Sailor Bauer was 57th (17:08), Bryar Goodson was 60th (17:13), Graye Riggs was 76th (17:43) and Olivia Blalock was 89th (18:24).

In the junior high boys’ division, the Roland Rangers were 14th (407 points).

Central’s Caden Bair was ninth (12:48).

As for other locals, Roland’s Andrew Escobar was 65th (15:04), Roland’s Kash Earnhart was 74th (15:18), Central’s Daxton Moldrup was 75th (15:20), Central’s Koleman Edwards was 122nd (16:57), Roland’s Silas King was 125th (17:07), Roland’s Greyson Corderman was 166th (19:27) and Roland’s Kyle Hammy McKinney was 194th (24:09).
