Gans Grizzlies beat Watts for first win of season

WATTS — Thanks to a third-quarter rally, the Gans Grizzlies got their first win of the 2025 football season as they got past the host Watts Engineers 16-12 last Friday night.

Down 12-0 in the third quarter, the Grizzlies (1-2) got a 2-yard touchdown run by Jasper Green, then at the end of the period the Grizzlies scored again on a 30-yard strip fumble recovery for a TD by Dalton Scott. Green ran in each of the two-point conversions.

The Grizzlies will hit the road once more to meet the Midway Chargers at 7 p.m. next Friday night in Council
