Memorial services for Elizabeth Jane Crain, 48, of Sallisaw, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2025, at Blue Ribbon Fellowship Chapel in Sallisaw.

Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.

She was born on Oct. 2, 1976, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Margaret Jane (Barnes) Wood. She died on Sunday, Sept. 7, 2025, in Arkoma.

She was a former newspaper inserter. Survivors include her parents, Margaret and Billy Wood of Sallisaw; four sisters, Diana Reeves of Spiro, Lola Keen of Sallisaw, Mary Conroy of Illinois and Margaret Gail Rogers of Bokoshe; two brothers, Raymond Crain of Erick and Lee W. Wood of Sallisaw; and other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by one brother, William Elbin Crain; an uncle, C.P. Barnes; and nephew, Shawn Elbin Rothers.
