The End is in Sight!
Commentary
September 2, 2025
The End is in Sight!
By Shirley R. Watts,

Amen! Praise the Lord! Jesus Christ is King! Jesus is coming soon!

“The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” (Rev. 11:15).

“And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work” (Rev. 22:12-13).

The anticipation of the termination of evil is in the air, being in the hearts and minds of Christians. I hope it is in the minds of all but I am afraid some Christians are playing with sin.

With the first four trumpet judgments hail and fire hits Earth, one third of trees and grass burned up. One third of the sea becomes blood killing one third of sea creatures and ships destroyed. One third of the rivers and springs made bitter. The stars, moon and sun will hold back one third of their light. This is around the mid-tribulation period. Things will move more quickly and be much more intense to complete God’s judgment on Earth. God’s wrath will make a quick end of all who have opposed Him.

He will come for His Bride…the Church, then the Seven Years Tribulation (Judgment upon sin and rejecters). After the judgment He returns to set up His Kingdom, rule with a rod of iron and set things right. Amen, Praise to our Living and Righteous God!

Yes! The end of evil… the changing of God’s Laws, mockers of Christians, sexual immorality, child abuse and murder, lying, stealing, riots, deceit, power mongers, adultery, fornication and covetousness etc. is in sight. Praise the Lord for His faithfulness!

“The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord” (11:15).

God’s plan is certain! All rejecters of His Son along with Satan and his angels will be cast into the lake of fire forever (Rev.20:15).

The fifth trumpet: A star [Satan] falls to earth, he has key to open the bottomless pit, locusts came out with power to torment man for five months, men seeks death, but can’t die. (Rev 9:1-12; 12:712).

All I can say is “what a terrible five months that will be.” Will man repent…No!

Christian, how many unbelievers have you shared the gospel and judgment with?

If you really believe Judgment is coming, you should be excited of that fact, but at the same time concerned for others who are lost.

We must commit to prayer, study of the Word, witness and worship as we are “…looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,” (Titus 2:13-14).

Are you living as if you truly believe He is coming?

Let us say with the heavenly host: “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” (Rev. 11:15).

There is much happening in this old world today, but we can’t allow it to side-track us from our commitment to Christ. Nothing could stop Him…let nothing stop us!

Let go of “…the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God (Heb. 12:1-3).

Christians, be happy campers, we are going home soon. Rejoice in the Lord, He is coming soon! He will rule! He will judge sin and cast all unbelievers into eternal torment.

The end is truly in sight!!! “…look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near” (Luke 21:28).

As you read this… stop and just praise the Lord, and He will hear the joy in our hearts.

Unbeliever, get rid of your pride and unbelief! Accept Christ today!

“And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying…no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

“Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new” (Rev. 21).

Let us think on Him! Amen!!!
