Funeral services for Betty Sue Neighbors, 78, of Muldrow, will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2025, at Eastside Freewill Baptist Church in Muldrow. Burial will follow at Blackjack Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mrs. Neighbors was born on Oct. 6, 1946 in Fort Smith, Ark., to Susie M. (Morgan) Earls and Claude Earls. She passed away on Thursday, Aug. 28, 2025, in Fort Smith.
She was married to Roy Dean Neighbors on Nov. 3, 1980, in Fort Smith.
She worked at Riverside and retired from Mac Steel.
Survivors are her husband, Roy of the home; daughter, Tashaa Harris and Jack of Muldrow; son, Bryan McKenzie and Tracy of Muldrow; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-greatgrandchild; and other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Billie Rose; and great-grandchild, Wyatt Davenport.
Pallbearers will be Eli Chaser, Joe Bryce McKenzie, Jackson Harris, Braxton Dale McKenzie, Mari West and Loren Matthews.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Williams, Gary Don Masterson, Jim Mackey, Chris Cross, Billy Wilson, David Crowley and Paul Sharp.
