A funeral mass for Barbara Ann (Yeager) Huff, 91, of Sallisaw, was held at 1:30 p.m. Wed., Aug. 27, 2025, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sallisaw. Rosary service preceded at 12:30 p.m. with burial following at Akins Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mrs. Huff was born on March 15, 1934, in Yakima, Wash., to Emma (Fahey) Yeager and Ralph Yeager. He passed away on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025.
She married James F. “Book” Huff on May 21, 1949. He preceded her in death on Oct. 21, 1995.
She enjoyed volunteering at Mercy Hospital and Catholic Charities, and was a devoted member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
Survivors are a daughter, Kathy Ruark and David of Sallisaw; two sons, Mike Huff and Sharon of Sallisaw and Pat Huff and Carole of Blue Mouse; seven grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; daughter-in-law, Sue Huff of Fresno: and several other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Ray Huff; granddaughter, Amiee Huff; great-greatgrandson, Baron Grant; her parents; three sisters, Geraldine Loomis, Myra Clark and Donna Jennings; and brother, Ralph Yeager.
Pallbearers were James Ruark, Marty Huff, Dean Pratt, Gary Pratt, Roger Sharp and Roger Flute.
Honorary pallbearers were Ralph Pratt, Monte Huff, David Ruark and Monroe Lowrimore.
