Muldrow cross country teams to be experienced this fall

The Muldrow High School cross country teams will have quite a few of their experienced runners back for this season, which will begin at 9 a.m. Friday at the Carl Albert State College/ Poteau Invitational. For the Lady Bulldogs, they will have four members from last year back — Genna Stephenson, Isabelle Rogers, Emma Fields and Tiphany Martinez. While none of them ran in the 2024 Class 4A State Meet, Stephenson and Fields ran in the 2023 state meet where Stephenson was 100th and Fields was 115th.

Crystal Harrison rounds out the Lady Bulldogs’ roster, which means, barring injuries, the Muldrow girls always will be in line for team championships for Muldrow girls coach Debra Silva-McDonald.

The ’Dogs return three runners from a season ago — Jesse Kilinc, Parker Sevenstar and Seth Nance.

Rounding out the Bulldogs’ roster for coach Terry Collins are Parker McLane, Avos Denny, Brody Israel and Averyn Dumas.
