Three local former high school cross country runners will be a part of the 2025 Carl Albert State College teams when they begin their season with the CASC Invitational, which will begin at 8 a.m. Friday in Poteau.
The Lady Vikings return four runners, including a local runner, who ran in last season’s national meet.
Muldrow’s Kennady Moore is back after finishing last year’s NJCAA Division II Championships in 127th place.
The good news is she won’t be the only Moore running for CASC coach Kristin Snyder. Moore’s twin sister, Katelynn, who had to be redshirted last season due to suffering a torn ACL suffered in her final high school basketball playoff game as a Lady Bulldog. However, Katelynn, while a sophomore academically, will be a redshirt freshman athletically — so she can run with the Lady Vikings in the 2026 season.
In the men’s side, there also will be a local product as Roland’s Landon Killer will be among the freshmen Vikings for Snyder.
