EMPORIA, Kan. — Former Muldrow Bulldogs track athlete Trenden Collins was among several Emporia State University Hornets track athletes honored by the United States Track and Field/Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Collins, majoring in computer science, and 21 other ESU track athletes made the 2024-25 USTFCCCA All-Academic Team. Collins was an honorable mention member.
The Hornet men had a 3.35 team gradepoint average to lead the MIAA Conference and ranked 30th across NCAA Division II.
To be named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team, an individual must have a minimum GPA of 3.25 at their current institution and finished the season ranked in the top 50 in an individual event on the national descending order lists on the Track and Field Results Reporting System (TFRRS).
Collins will begin his junior season with the Hornets this upcoming school year.
