Big things are happening at the Muldrow Cherokee Community Organization (MCCO), where they are growing and making changes to better serve the community. The MCCO just received a new storage building and a walkin cooler to help handle more donations and keep food fresher longer. They’ve also received 800 donated food boxes, including 400 dry goods and 400 frozen, to help feed families in need. The community garden is also getting a much-needed boost, and they’re working on adding a new pavilion with horseshoes and cornhole for fun, healthy activities that everyone can enjoy. MCCO wishes to thank Cherokee Nation, Chief Chuck Hoskin Jr., and Running Strong for their continued support in helping them uplift their community.
