AT RIGHT: The Kozie Quilters of Sequoyah County hosted a Quilts of Valor presentation on May 21, at Trinity Methodist Church, located east of Muldrow. Eight veterans were each recognized and awarded a Quilt of Valor for their service to our great country. Family and friends were present to witness the ceremony. Veterans honored (from left) were, Dennis Allen, Herbert Barnes, Gary Cate, Jim Champion, Tommy Pelt, John Scaggs, C.E. Simpson and Phillip Daggs. The Kozie Quilters welcome new members who enjoy sewing, quilting, learning and sharing ideas.
