God is Speaking…You Must Hear Him!
Commentary
May 27, 2025
God is Speaking…You Must Hear Him!
By Shirley R. Watts

“Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

“He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:3,1819). “And a voice came out of the cloud saying “This is My beloved Son, Hear Him!” (Luke 9:35).

Are you hearing Him?

Spiritually Dead

Why are you spiritually dead? When Adam sinned, all died spiritually and until you place your faith in Jesus Christ you will remain dead!

Your future! If you continue to reject Jesus Christ, you will be cast out into the everlasting lake of fire with Satan. (Rev.20:11) because you chose to follow him. Because God is The Just God, He will say to you “…I never knew you; depart from Me,” (Matthew 7:23).

God is speaking to you. “Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts” (Hebrews 4:7).

Ask yourself!

Why do I continue to reject God’s Voice? Why do I turn my back to the cross? Why do I choose to follow the world when I know where I will end up?

Have you really thought about eternity? I hope you hear God’s Voice! Be born again! Confess your sin of rejecting Him, then ask forgiveness for the sin, and place your faith in Him! Begin to live your life with Him. Don’t allow Satan to deceive you… (Rev 20:10). Every time you reject God’s voice you become harder. Don’t delay! The Judgment is coming!

Excuses: “I believe I am a good person. I live a good life. God will save me… He would never send me to Hell.” Well, there will be a lot of “good people” in Hell. Being good is nice, but “being good” will not save you. “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,” (Ephesians 2:8-9). And remember, it is your decision to go to Hell if you reject Him. Rejection of Jesus Christ is the ticket to Hell!

Excuse: “I have good works.” I go to church sometimes. I help out in the community. “it is the gift of God, not of works lest anyone should boast.” (Ephesians 2:9) (Matthew 16:19-22). Well, you are not saved by “works.” It is by faith in Jesus Christ!

Excuse: “I don’t need God! This is one of man’s favorite excuses. You can do nothing for yourself as far as your salvation is concerned. God did it all! Salvation is provided by God Himself. Man can do nothing! Yes! You do need God! There was a man who lived for himself and felt he did not need God and he “died and was buried” “And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. Then he cried and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame” (Luke 16:19-31) Time was up!

Excuse, “I don’t believe in God,” Well, as you can see in the Scriptures many have said that and many would like to change their mind… but can’t! Just because you do not believe in God does not change the fact that God is and there is an eternity of separation from God. Whether you believe it or not Jesus is coming again soon! “And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire” ( Revelation 20:11-15). “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (John 3:18).

Do you hear His Voice? Salvation is offered to you! Say, “I will hear what God is saying to me” I will repent now and secure my future in Jesus Christ.

Be saved today! Accept His love! You must be born again!

Hear Him!!!
