Hamilton applauds confirmation of EOSC Regent Nominee

Sen. Warren Hamilton, R-McCurtain, commended the Senate Education Committee for voting to confirm the nomination of Brian Lott of McAlester to serve a third term on the Board of Regents of Eastern Oklahoma State College.

“Regent Lott has been an invaluable asset to the Board of Regents and a key leader in advancing the mission and vision of Eastern Oklahoma State College,” Hamilton said. “His leadership has not only strengthened EOSC but has also had a meaningful and lasting impact on the broader region we serve. I extend my appreciation to Regent Lott for his unwavering service, dedication, and passion for higher education, and for all he has done and will continue to do for students, our community, and the state of Oklahoma.”

In addition to his service at EOSC, Lott serves on the Frink-Chambers School Board and has been involved with several boards and civic organizations in McAlester and beyond. He has been an employee of the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant for over 25 years.

Following confirmation from the full Senate, Lott will serve a seven-year term ending June 1, 2032.
