Benny Lee Nofire

April 23, 1957 – May 8, 2025

Graveside services for Benny Lee Nofire, 68, of Muldrow, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Belfonte Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.

Mr. Nofire was born on April 23, 1957, in Tahlequah to Able Nofire and Lucille Mae (Proctor) Nofire. He died on Thursday, May 8, 2025, in Fort Smith, Ark.

He worked for Baldor for 25 years and enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include one daughter, Melissa and James Colbert of Broomfield, Colo.; one son, Matthew and Maria Nofire of Fort Smith; his mother, of Muldrow; two sisters, Ruby and Buddy Holt of Roland and Rose and Bruce Rowe of Muldrow; two brothers, Leon Nofire and Shannon Cogburn and Jody and Annie Nofire all of Muldrow; two grandchildren; and other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father; and three brothers, Clayton, William and Floyd Gene.
