Muldrow baseball season ends with two regional tournament losses

The 2025 baseball season came to an end for the Muldrow Bulldogs on Saturday at the Class 4A Regional Tournament at North Rock Creek High School near Shawnee.

The Bulldogs lost to the regional-host Cougars 10-0 in five innings, then fell 12-2 in five innings to the Miami Wardogs.

It ended up being a winless week last week for the ’Dogs as the Gore Pirates spoiled Muldrow’s Senior Day for lone senior Jonah Claborn with a 4-1 victory on April 28 In the regional-tournament loss to North Rock Creek, the Bulldogs (5-24) were nohit.

The Cougars scored twice in the first inning, seven runs in the third inning and once in the fourth inning for a 10-0 lead to put the game into run-rule status.

In defeat, Hayden McKinster was 2-for-2 with a run batted in and a run scored for Muldrow.

Of Miami’s 12 runs, only five of them were earned as the other seven runs were due to Muldrow’s four errors.
