Roland, Muldrow boys golf teams finish regular season in Heavener Invitational

POTEAU — The Roland Rangers and the Muldrow Bulldogs golf teams wrapped up their regular season at the Heavener Boys Invitational, which took place Thursday at Wolf Mountain Country Club west of Poteau.

The Rangers finished seventh in the team standings with a team score of 381.

The Rangers had three of their five golfers shoot below 100 as Kylan White had an 88, while Avery Moya and Brady Edmondson each carded 92s. Keegan Knapp had a 109, while Jalen Armer shot a 119.

The Bulldogs were 10th with a team score of 423.

Caden Grinstead had the best day as he shot a 101, followed by Wyatt Prewett with a 104, Jace Prewett with a 107, Hayden McKinster with a 111 and Parker Likens with a 112. As an individual, Jack Rhodes also shot a 112.

Next up for the Rangers and the Bulldogs will be their respective regional tournament, where either as a team or as individuals they will try to qualify for state.

The Rangers will be at the Class 3A Regional Tournament today at Heritage Hills Golf Course in Claremore, while the ’Dogs will be at the Class 4A Regional Tournament today back at Wolf Mountain Country Club.
