In the home loss to Morris, the Eagles jumped out to a 4-0 lead by the second inning. The Rangers (1-7 in district play) scored once in their half of the second inning to cut their deficit to 4-1, but got no closer as the Eagles had a pair of six-run innings in the third and fourth innings for a 16-1 lead to put the game into run-rule status.

In defeat, Austin Foster was 2-for-2 with two runs scored for Roland.

Hunter Burris (1-3) took the loss, going the first 3.2 innings with two strikeouts. Colton Peters went the final 1.1 innings with two strikeouts.
