Shawna Forslund has been named Gans Teacher of the Year. Forslund has been employed at Gans for 19 years and is in her seventh year of teaching third grade. She is married to Pat Forslund and has two sons, Brayden and Dalton Forslund, and four grandchildren, Waylon, Wrinley, Beau, and Wade.
