Mable F. Ellis

Graveside services for Mable F. Ellis, 101, of Sallisaw, were held at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 7, 2025, at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on July 24, 1923, in Badger Lee to Nellie Gladys (Winsel) Ellis and George Clinton Ellis. She passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, in Sallisaw.

She was an executive secretary at Seismograph Service Corporation where she retired after 36 years.

Survivors are a niece, Kathryn Hughes and Michael of Claremore; and several other nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and great-great-great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Fred Ellis and Manuel Ellis; and four sisters, Carlie LaCroix, Pauline Cowden, Grace Pruitt and Gertrude Lee.
