Fort Smith’s Steel Horse Rally set for May 2 and 3

The Steel Horse Rally will celebrate its 10th anniversary in downtown Fort Smith on Friday, May 2 and Saturday, May 3. The charity motorcycle event “honors all who serve” and makes a positive impact on local charities and the River Valley. This free, familyfriendly event has grown into one of the largest events in the region, bringing in thousands of visitors to Fort Smith area each year.

“We’re very excited to be celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Steel Horse Rally with everyone,” said Steel Horse Rally President and founder, Dennis Snow. “The success and the growth of the Steel Horse Rally would not be possible without so many people: Our volunteers who truly are the fuel of the Steel Horse Rally, and the incredible sponsors that make it possible to offer these annual events free to the public.”

The Bikes & Badges Vintage Motorcycle Show will take place on May 3 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the US Marshals Museum, 789 Riverfront Dr. The event, sponsored by Fort Smith Harley-Davidson, also allows visitors free admission to the US. Marshals Museum on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

People can enter their motorcycles that are at least 25 years old in the 2025 Bikes & Badges vintage bike show for free. Entry form and more information is available at www.marshalsmuseum. org. All participants of the show are invited to ride their bikes near the front of the Thunder through the Valley Motorcycle Parade that stages at 3 p.m. on Saturday at Riverfront Park at 121 Riverfront Dr., and begins at 4 p.m.

The Steel Horse Rally continues to support local charities and the 2025 Steel Horse Rally official charities include Arc for the River Valley, the Children’s Service League, and Heaven’s Babies. When people make a charitable donation for the metallic gold-colored official 2025 Steel Horse Rally Charity Cup, 100 percent of the donation will go to these three charities.

Additional details about rides, live music, vendors, and other events can be found online by visiting www. TheSteelHorseRally.com.
