Oct. 13, 1937 – March 12, 2025

Katherine H. Ogren, of Grants Pass, Ore., formerly of Redland, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. She was born on Oct. 13, 1937, in Redland to John and Judy (Day) Russell.

No formal service is planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Valley-L.B. Hall Funeral Hall of Grants Pass.

She worked as a beautician, managed a bar/restaurant and worked as a sales clerk. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, horseback riding, gardening and traveling.

Survivors include her husband, Ken Ogren; daughter, Tracy Reagan VanDeldon; brother, Leonard Russell; half-sister, Lagusta Evans; 11 grandchildren; and other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Jeanie Elliot; one son, George Steven Hamilton; husband, Jerry Holten; step-son, Wayne Holten; and siblings, Fran, Millie, John and Immon.
