He was a construction worker. Survivors include his wife, Doris “Dee” Adams of the home; one daughter, Valerie Maldonado of Fort Smith; four sons, Jeremy Cook of Broken Arrow, Brandon Cook of Sallisaw, Johnathan Adams of Mississippi, and Brian Adams of Cowlington; 11 grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Harold Adams.
Pallbearers were Justin Adams, Matt Adams, Chris Corley, Brandon Cook, Johnny Honeycutt and Michael Pearcy.
Graveside services for Billy Ray Adams, 61, of Gans, were held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 24, 2025, at New Hope Cemetery in Spiro under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Mr. Adams was born on Aug. 26, 1963, in Poteau to Haskel Chester Adams and Betty Margaret (Robison) York. He died on Monday,
