He passed away on March 11, 2025.
He was a 1969 graduate of Northside High School and attended Arkansas Tech University; and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He retired from Arkansas Best Freight in 2017, after 35 years as a rate specialist and in management positions.
He married Vickie (Jones) Terry on Nov. 6, 1976. Survivors include his wife, Vickie of 48 years; two daughters, Rachel and husband CW Blood of Roland and Brittany and husband Todd Fisher of Muldrow; a granddaughter; two sisters, Deanna Dysart of Moore and Lisa and Randy Martin of Edmond; as nd many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother- in-law, Bob Dysart; and his father and motherin- law, Jimmie and Carol Jones.
Pallbearers were Randy Martin, Troy Sanstra, Wayne Childers, Todd Fisher and CW Blood.
Honorary pallbearers were Joe Wilson, Darrell Metcalf, Donnie Bamburg, and Jimmy Bruso.
Funeral services for David H. Terry, 74, of Roland, were held at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 17, 2025, at First Baptist Church in Roland. Burial followed at Roland City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mr. Terry was born on Jan. 23, 1951, in Fort Smith, Ark. to Ruford and Hilda (Gattis) Terry.
