Former Muldrow Lady Bulldogs basketball player Hannah Boyett and the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith Lions went undefeated last week at Stubblefield Center as they defeated Missouri Western State 88-80 last Thursday night and beat Northwest Missouri State 56-47 last Saturday afternoon.

In Thursday night’s win, Boyett scored eight points, grabbed two rebounds and recorded a steal and an assist.

In Saturday afternoon’s victory, Boyett scored three points and had four rebounds.

So far this season, Boyett is averaging 6.1 points, 1.6 rebounds, 1.2 assists and three steals per game to go with her five blocked shots through 26 games.

Boyett, who was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in July, and the Lions (17-9) will hit the road this week for their final two regularseason games of the season — 5:30 p.m. this Thursday against the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond and at 1:30 p.m. this Saturday against Rogers State University in Claremore.
