Funeral services for Beverly Jean Boyett, 79, of Muldrow were held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14, 2025, at First Assembly of God Church in Muldrow. Burial followed at Blackjack Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Mrs. Boyett was born on Dec. 31, 1945, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Julia Millie (Foster) Hutson and Samuel Wesley Hutson. She passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2025.

She was married to John Boyett on Oct. 30, 1964, in Muldrow.

A dedicated member of the Eastern Star for 39 years, she held numerous positions. She attended Liberty Assembly of God Church.

Survivors are two sons, Little John Boyett and Julie and Jason Boyett and Janine, all of Muldrow; three grandchildren; sister, Patricia Gregg of Gans; and numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Billy J. Hutson and Samuel W. Hutson, Jr.; and sister, Betty Eads.

Pallbearers were Little John Boyett, Jason Boyett, Caleb Boyett, Hannah Boyett, Hayden Boyett, Donald Middleton, Kelly Boyett and Montea Wight III.

Honorary pallbearers were Hunter Killion, Dustin Moffett and members of The Order of the Eastern Star.
