Graveside service for Winter Dee Free, 90, of Muldrow, was held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2025, at Upper Camp Creek Cemetery in Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mr. Free was born on Jan. 21, 1935, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Mary (Lasiter) Free and Clarence Richard Free. He passed away on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2025, in Inola.
He married Jackie Nell (Lott) Free on Sept. 2, 1955, in Dallas, Texas. She preceded him in death on Jan. 26, 1992.
He loved fishing, singing, playing the guitar, and buying and selling cars and guitars. He was of the Pentecostal beliefs.
Survivors are two sons, Eddie Free and Carol of Inola and Lonnie Free of Muldrow; two grandsons; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Anetia Keith and Jack of Roland; as many other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; six sisters, Geneva Dickey, Margie Dunn, Grace Branham, Dorothy Jean Nichols, Martha Branham and Reba Jane; and two brothers, Sonny Free and Buddy Free.
