Gans girls go 1-3 last week; Grizzlies suffer four losses
By DAVID SEELEY Sports Editor

It was a rough week of basketball last week for the Gans High School teams as they went a combined 1-7.

The only win last week came compliments of the Lady Grizzlies, who defeated Cameron 30-23 on Friday night in Cameron after losing 49-20 to Cave Springs on Feb. 3 in Bunch, 5215 to Central on Thursday night and 42-21 to Webbers Falls on Feb. 4 — the latter two games at Bryant “Big Country” Reeves Fieldhouse.

It was a rougher week for the Grizzlies as they lost all four games played last week as they still seek win No. 1 for the 2024-25 season. The Grizzlies lost 59-25 to Cave Springs Feb. 3 in Bunch, fell 41-22 to Webbers Falls on Feb. 4 at home, lost 60-23 to Central on Thursday night at home and fell 55-26 to Cameron on Friday night in Cameron.
