Roland Youth League Wrestling members place at Novice State Tournament

TULSA — Several members of Roland Youth League Wrestling placed at last weekend’s Oklahoma Wrestling Association Novice State Tournament.

Two members won state titles.

Channing McKinney won the state championship at 195 pounds in the age 15-and-younger division, while Raven Tally was the champion at 98 pounds in the same age division.

Evan Waltermire was runner-up at 52 pounds in the age 12-and-younger division.

Devon Burrows (155 pounds, age 15-and-younger division), Matthew McGhee (120, age 12-and-younger) and Carson Conway (43, age 8-andyounger) all placed fourth.
