Funeral services for Karen Vanessa Bethel Cash, 62, of Ridgedale, Mo., were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025, at First Baptist Church in Muldrow. Burial followed at Lee’s Chapel Cemetery in Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date at First Baptist Church in Branson, Mo.
Mrs. Cash was born on April 13, 1962, in Sallisaw to Hubert David Bethel and Elsie Lorraine DuBuc Bethel. She died on Sunday, Dec. 29, 2024.
She attended Muldrow Public Schools and completed the LPN program at Westark Community College. She enjoyed planning family reunions and holiday events, and was a member of the Cherokee Nation.
She was married to Reiny Cash in August 1983. Survivors are her husband, Reiny; son, Kelvin Cash; two daughters, Kristen and Kendra Cash of Ridgedale; brothers, David Bethel of Muldrow, Doug Bethel of Gans, Chris Bethel of Mulberry, Ark., and twin brother, Kerry Bethel of Sallisaw; and other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Debra Rogers; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Pallbearers were David Bethel, Doug Bethel, Kerry Bethel, Chris Bethel, Tres Rogers, Brannon Bethel, Andrew Bethel, Jonathan Bethel, Tyler Carlile, Drake Davis, Chris Carlile, and Huston Bethel.
Honorary pallbearers were her brothers.
