Funeral services for Janice Ruth Nolan, 76, of Roland, were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2025, at Cottonwood Free Will Baptist Church in Muldrow. Burial followed at Cottonwood Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction of Agent-Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Muldrow.
She was born on Oct. 2, 1948, in Fort Smith, Ark. to Lola Faye (Wear) Woods and J.K. Woods. She died on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2025, in Fort Smith.
She enjoyed crocheting and working on word searches, and was a member of Cottonwood Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors are her sons, Ryan Nolan and wife DaWaina of the home, Scott Nolan, and Chad Nolan and Mysha, all of Muldrow; daughter, Amy Nall of South Milford, Ind.; several grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Micki Holloway of Fort Smith; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Larry “Lum” Woods and Rocky Woods, Sr.; son-in-law, Gene Nall; niece, Laurinda “Duck” Woods; nephew, Stoney Woods; and great-grandson, Remington Scott Nolan.
Pallbearers were her sons and grandsons.
