Four Muldrow Bulldogs made the 2024 All-District 3A-3 Football Team.

Linebacker Jacob Gregory and defensive end Dakota Rushing were named to the firstteam all-district, while offensive linemen Jonah Claborn and Mark Gleason were named to the second-team alldistrict The ’Dogs finished the season at 5-5, which included opening the season at 4-0 before a five-game losing streak in district play kept them from making the playoffs. They won their Senior Night game in Week 10 over Locust Grove to avoid having a losing record.

District 3A-3 had quite a playoff run in 2024. All four playoff teams — Lincoln Christian, Idabel, Tulsa Holland Hall and Checotah — all went 1-0 on Week 1 of the postseason, which was the only district in the entire state and in any classification to pull off that feat.

Lincoln Christian and Checotah made it to the Class 3A state semifinals, which was where the Bulldogs knocked off Oklahoma City Heritage Hall 42-14, but the Wildcats lost to Sulphur 68-21.

Lincoln Christian capped a perfect 14-0 season and won its second straight Class 3A state title with a 28-27 win over Sulphur Dec. 5 at the University of Central Oklahoma’s Chad Richison Stadium in Edmond.
