Three Brushy Wrestling Club members earn medals at Rumble on the River

VERDIGRIS — Three Brushy Wrestling Club members earned medals at the 2024 Rumble on the River, which took place Nov. 23.

Isaac Glover, wrestling in the age 8-andyounger division went undefeated to win the title, beating Tulsa Blue T Panthers wrestler Jonny Lewis 13-0, pinning Tulsa Blue T Panthers wrestler King Walker in 1:47, defeating Verdigris Youth Wrestling’s Camden Cross 11-7 and beating Salina Wrestling Club’s Gavin Sparks 13-3.

Abel Glover took third place in the age 10-and-and-younger division with a 12-6 win over Tiger Trained Wrestling’s Donnie Whitenack. Glover opened with a loss to Raw Wrestling Club’s Daxton Deckard, but won his consolation semifinals by pinfall in 1:53 over Sperry Wrestling Club’s Michael Robison.

Tristan Price, wrestling at 52-55 pounds in the age 10-and-younger division, lost his thirdplace match 10-2 to Grant Remus. Price opened with a 15-2 quarterfinal loss to Remus, but beat Berryhill Wrestling Club’s Aidan Garland by pinfall in 1:47 in the consolation semifinals.
