Janis McAlister Eoff

Memorial services for Janis (McAlister) Eoff, 81, of Fort Smith, Ark., were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, 2024, at the Agent & Mallory-Martin Chapel in Muldrow.

Arrangements were under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.

Mrs. Eoff was born on Feb. 1, 1943, in Fort Smith to Robert Edgar McAlister and Mildred Lucille (Boyd) McAlister. She died on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2024, in Van Buren, Ark.

She was a computer programmer for Baldor Electric Company and Rheem Manufacturing.

Survivors include one son, Robert and Libby Eoff of Fort Smith; one sister, Judy Young of Muldrow; three grandchildren; and other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Phyllis Osman; and three brothers, Jerry, Bob and Jack McAlister.
