Memorial services for Roger Lee West, 73, of Muldrow, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024, at the Agent & Mallory-Martin Chapel in Sallisaw.
Arrangements were under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Mr. West was born on Oct. 12, 1950, in Sallisaw to Elzey Nelson West and Ruby Isabell (Rogers) West. He died on Thursday, Sept. 19, 2024, in Fayetteville, Ark.
He received a Bachelor’s Degree in forestry from Oklahoma State University and was a sergeant in the U.S. Army. He worked as a concrete inspector at nuclear power plants around the world, and was a rancher for over 30 years.
Survivors include one brother, Waylon West of Muskogee; and other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
