The Eternal Future is in Sight!

The Eternal Future is in Sight!
By Shirley R. Watts

Promise

“I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also” (John 14:3-4).

“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord” (I Thessalonians 4:16-17).

We will meet Him and our saved loved ones who have gone on ahead of us. The Rapture.

Seven Years Later

“Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty” (Revelation 1:7-8).

At the end of the Seven Year Tribulation we will return with Him. He will fight the battle of Armageddon and then set up His Millennial Kingdom. So as the world laughs now, the Day of the Lord will come and “all the tribes of the earth world will mourn because of Him.” They will know when they see Him…that it is over!

Victory!

Today, there are many who say that Jesus Christ and His Church are defeated in this world. But, Christians know the truth. We have faith in Christ our Lord and He tells us in His Word that we are His forever and that we are victorious.

Are you truly born again? Have you repented toward God and placed your faith in His Son Jesus Christ? Are you sure you are saved?

Ascension and Return “Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven” (Acts 1:9-11; Revelation 1:7).

It’s true! He is returning in all power. He will not suffer humility. He will be honored and glorified! The world will bow before Him and confess that He is Lord of Heaven and Earth. He will rule over all! (Phil. 2:9-11). Amen!

Time is Near

Many Christians believe that the Rapture is near. We hear something every day about what the world does not like about the Church, or Christ. This is not news to the Christian who studies The Word of God. Political leaders for the most part are not showing signs of God in their lives. They think they are all powerful, but they only have what God allows them. They are defeated and don’t even know it. They are not in control. We must remember that these people are ignorant of God and His Word.

Christians are to pray and stay busy serving the Lord. One day it will all be over and we will not deal with sin, pain or sorrow any more. Amen.

Christian

Are you ready for His return? Are you serving Him? How do you spend your time? Do you study, pray, witness and worship Him from the heart of love. Will you receive rewards to give to Him?

Heaven is Near

“And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” Rev 21:4 “Unbelievers”

Jesus loves you and He is the “one and only” way to the Father. Salvation is a Gift. You can do nothing to save yourself (Ephesians 2:8-9). Why do you not believe, you have everything to gain in Christ!!! You will lose Hell!!
