Feb. 21, 1963 – Sept. 24, 2024

Doug Herod, 61, of Vian, died on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2024, in Tulsa. He was born on Feb. 21, 1963, in Sapulpa to Leonard Earl Herod and Rosa Bell (Payne) Herod.

No formal service is planned at this time. Cremation is under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.

He was a floor covering installer.

Survivors include one brother, Rick and Debbie Herod of Tulsa; nephews, Joshua Herod of Vian and Matthew Herod of Gans; niece, Jennifer Stoner; great-nephews, Gavin Herod and Ryker Cofey; great-nieces, Nicki Stoner, Brooklyn Herod and Kylie Covey; sister-in-law, Leslie Herod of Vian; niecein- law, Jan Herod; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Marty Herod.
