Funeral services for Earnest Ervin “Ernie” Harbour Jr., 86, were held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 26, 2024, in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel of Forever Memories Funeral Services.
Burial followed at Long Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction of Forever Memories Funeral Services, Inc.
Mr. Harbour was born on May 23, 1938, in Fort Smith, Ark. to Earnest and June Harbour. He died on Aug. 19, 2024, in Fort Smith.
He was a photographer, co-owned a restaurant, and was a furniture sales rep for Corsicana Bedding. He loved to dance and cook, and was a devoted Christian.
Survivors are his spouse, Dee Harbour; children, Marlo and Danny Jr. Hoover and Andrea Harbour and companion Chris Highley; step-daughter, Cyndi and Brian Shutt; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Tanya L. Harbour; step-son, T.J. Stiga; siblings, Faye R. Berkley and Michael Harbour; and a grandson, Jacob Just.
Pallbearers were Brian Harbour, Tanner Phelan, Joshua Mitchell, Danny Hoover Jr., Michael Hoover, and James Knutson.
