Funeral services for Deborah Joan (Dyer) Dean, 62, of Muldrow, were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 20, 2024, at the Agent & Mallory-Martin Chapel in Muldrow.

Cremation is under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.

Mrs. Dean was born on Jan. 15, 1962, in Sallisaw, to John Wesley “Jay” Dyer and Peggy Lee Frazier. She died on Friday, June 14, 2024, in Tulsa.

She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith. She enjoyed yard sales, auctions, dirt track racing, OU Sooners, music and singing. She was a loving and caring person.

She married Robert Dean on July 19, 1980, in Muldrow.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; two sons, Raymond Dean of Sallisaw and Wesley and Betty Dean of Muldrow; her mother, of Fort Smith; one sister, Darlene Jones of Roland; six grandchildren; and other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father. Pallbearers were her grandsons.
